Waypointer app and waypointer.info · Effective July 15, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Fullstakrs LLC, the operator of the Waypointer mobile application and the waypointer.info website (together, "Waypointer"). "We," "us," and "our" refer to Fullstakrs LLC. By using Waypointer, you agree to these terms.
Not an emergency service
Waypointer does not dispatch help, reserve shelter beds, or provide crisis counseling. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. For housing crises call 2-1-1 (press 3, then 1); for domestic violence support call or text CT Safe Connect at (888) 774-2900; for a mental health crisis call or text 988. The hotline buttons in Waypointer place ordinary phone calls through your device — the services answering those calls are independent organizations, not Waypointer.
Information accuracy
Waypointer is a guide to services operated by others. We work to keep details accurate — including automated checks, periodic verification with providers, and user reports — but hours, phone numbers, eligibility rules, and availability change without notice and are ultimately controlled by each provider. Information in Waypointer is provided "as is" and may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. When it matters, call ahead. Nothing in Waypointer is a promise that a bed, meal, or program is available to you, and nothing in it is legal, medical, or professional advice.
Using Waypointer
Waypointer is free for personal, non-commercial use, and for use by caseworkers, advocates, librarians, and others helping people directly. You agree not to:
- use the feedback system or any other feature to submit false reports, spam, or abusive content;
- attempt to identify, locate, or endanger users of the service or residents of any shelter — in particular, attempting to discover confidential shelter locations is a violation of these terms and may violate law;
- scrape, bulk-download, or republish the resource database, or use automated tools to disrupt the service;
- interfere with the security or operation of the app, the website, or their infrastructure.
Feedback
Reports and suggestions you submit are anonymous and voluntary. You grant us the right to use them to correct and improve the service. Please don't include personal information in them.
Intellectual property
The Waypointer name, logo, app, and website design are the property of Fullstakrs LLC. The facts of what services exist belong to no one; the compilation, descriptions, translations, and step-by-step guidance in Waypointer are ours. Names of third-party services and organizations belong to their respective owners; their appearance in Waypointer does not imply endorsement in either direction.
Third-party services
Waypointer links out to phone numbers, websites, and mapping apps operated by others. Your use of those services is governed by their terms, and we're not responsible for them.
Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability
Waypointer is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of information. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fullstakrs LLC and the people who build and maintain Waypointer will not be liable for any damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the service or from reliance on information in it. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Changes and availability
We may update, change, or discontinue features of Waypointer at any time, and may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. The current version, with its effective date, always lives at this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

No es un servicio de emergencia

Los botones de líneas de ayuda en Waypointer hacen llamadas telefónicas ordinarias desde su dispositivo — los servicios que responden esas llamadas son organizaciones independientes, no Waypointer.
Exactitud de la información
Waypointer es una guía de servicios operados por otros. Trabajamos para mantener los detalles exactos — incluyendo verificaciones automatizadas, verificación periódica con los proveedores y reportes de usuarios — pero los horarios, números de teléfono, reglas de elegibilidad y disponibilidad cambian sin aviso y son controlados en última instancia por cada proveedor. Uso de Waypointer

- usar el sistema de reportes ni ninguna otra función para enviar reportes falsos, spam o contenido abusivo;
- intentar identificar, localizar o poner en peligro a usuarios del servicio o residentes de cualquier albergue — en particular, intentar descubrir ubicaciones de albergues confidenciales es una violación de estos términos y puede violar la ley;
- extraer, descargar masivamente o republicar la base de datos de recursos, ni usar herramientas automatizadas para interrumpir el servicio;
- interferir con la seguridad u operación de la app, el sitio web o su infraestructura.
Reportes y sugerencias
Los reportes y sugerencias que envía son anónimos y voluntarios. Usted nos otorga el derecho de usarlos para corregir y mejorar el servicio. Por favor no incluya información personal en ellos.
Propiedad intelectual
El nombre, logotipo, app y diseño del sitio web de Waypointer son propiedad de Fullstakrs LLC. Los hechos de qué servicios existen no pertenecen a nadie; la compilación, descripciones, traducciones y guías paso a paso en Waypointer son nuestras. Los nombres de servicios y organizaciones de terceros pertenecen a sus respectivos dueños; su aparición en Waypointer no implica respaldo en ninguna dirección.
Servicios de terceros
Waypointer enlaza a números de teléfono, sitios web y apps de mapas operados por otros. Su uso de esos servicios se rige por los términos de ellos, y no somos responsables de los mismos.
